Ladakh, India is our present area of focus. The indigenous Ladakhi people need to be given skills and education that will prepare them to adapt for the influx of the many nations coming into their beautiful and previously isolated world. We believe if they are properly educated, they can learn how to best adapt to the many new cultural experiences they will face in the twenty-first century. Education may be the very thing that enables them to adapt while also retaining many important aspects of their rich cultural heritage.

Projects include school renovations, teacher training programs, and e-learning education. Kindles have been donated for the express purpose of getting some of the latest technology and learning programs into the hands of the teachers, students and school administrations. We assist children in one-on-one reading education.

We share our love. Through the activities and outreach of BTW, our deepest desire is to see God’s disciples united in fulfilling the Great Commandment of Jesus of “Loving your neighbor as your yourself” and that God’s love through God’s people does no harm to their neighbors.
