KINDLE E-LEARNING PROGRAM
The Kindle program began with a donation of Kindles several years ago, initially for teachers in remote schools, featuring songs, Bible stories, and English materials. As the program gained success, teachers requested the ability to add their own school materials to the Kindles, enhancing English education. Monthly recharging was facilitated by volunteers and local teachers with internet access.
Now, we aim to hire a local individual in Ladakh to collaborate with schools and engage in one-on-one reading sessions with students, strengthening English education beyond the classroom. This expansion is an exciting venture, and we eagerly anticipate ideas and software support to further enhance the program.
If you have more ideas to increase learning through technology or would like to donate Kindles to the program, please let us know!
Tech adoption fosters engaging learning. Learning thrives when students are engaged and interested.
Our Next Mission Trip
Join us from May 21 – June 3, 2024, for our upcoming Ladakh trip with a few spaces still available. We’ll be renovating a storefront for an upcoming café/restaurant as part of our BAM (Business as Mission) project, providing an opportunity to express Christ’s love creatively. We’re looking for electricians, plumbers, tilers, bakers, and artists. If you have a heart to serve, we need YOU! For more information, please email me.
